Water Distribution for Nearby Communities

Sagar Cements is committed to securing the well-being of the Local tribal communities. To ensure a reliable water supply to the communities surrounding its area of operation, SGC provided villages in and around Jeerabad with fresh drinking water during periods of limited availability. This initiative was aimed at addressing immediate needs and reducing the burden on the communities. It has contributed to community relief and improved public health by providing access to safe and clean water. Additionally, the initiative helped minimise the need for women to travel long distances to fetch water, reducing associated time and physical constraints.

At Tangarsahi village near our Jajpur plant, extreme summer heat caused a severe water shortage. We arranged water tankers and repaired borewells to ensure a steady supply for drinking and farming. This brought relief and support to the village.
