Theory states that blasting efficiency will improve by the creation of an air deck, using water bottles in the explosives column. Thus, on August 9, 2018, we began air decking the explosives columns with discarded water bottles or HDPE pipes. This step not only improved the blasting efficiency, but also helped us save cost and reuse waste.
