Using water sprinklers to reduce dust

A water sprinkling system and dust collector system were arranged at all belts and transfer points, except at the crusher hopper. As a result we observed dust emissions only at the crusher hopper while unloading the limestone into it. To reduce dust emissions, we implemented automatic water sprinklers into the dump trucks from July 1, 2016. This helped in drastically reducing the dust emission levels while unloading limestone into the crusher hopper.
