Tailoring Training for Women at Dachepalli and Jeerabad

At Ramapuram and Gamalapadu near our Dachepalli plant, we supported skill development initiatives focused on empowering women through tailoring training programmes conducted at dedicated training centres established on Gram Panchayat land. SGC engaged third-party trainers to provide vocational training, equipping women with practical skills to strengthen livelihood opportunities and financial independence. A total of 45 women beneficiaries (30 from Ramapuram and 15 from Gamalapadu) participated in the programme. To further support skill development, 10 sewing machines (5 each at Ramapuram and Gamalapadu) were distributed to the training centres, encouraging women to pursue self-employment opportunities or work with local tailoring establishments.

Near our Jeerabad plant, we established a skill development centre offering tailoring training to tribal women from nearby villages. The first batch saw participation from 30 women, helping build vocational capabilities and promoting livelihood generation opportunities.

In December 2025, we honoured 36 meritorious students from 12 schools near our Dachepalli plant with scholarships, commemorating the 89th birth anniversary of Late Sri Sammidi Veera Reddy Garu, supporting youth in pursuing higher education and building brighter futures.
